Not many of you know that “sewstories” was created from our Founder last name : Su(satyo) – Stories. In Javanese “Su” means beautiful and “Satyo” means loyal, and when you combine all the names, it means “The beautiful story about Loyalty”. one of the important aspect in life which she appreciates the most.
“Sewstories” keep capturing the beautiful journey and write the story about being Loyal : to our dream , our passion, and about being persistent to achieve our goals,
Our collection is handmade by artisans who have spent their lives learning the art of crafting beautiful bag and goods from fine leathers. Many of these artisans have been crafting for almost half of their lives.
One fun fact about sewstories is the brand actually registered in USA in 2013 (please see 1 , 2, 3 attachments) ,and we hope soon to be in Indonesia too.

Founded in 2011 by Imelda, SEWSTORIES has come quite a long way from its beginnings in a bedroom of her house in Jakarta. She turn hard work and inspiration into a real workshop and recently have its own web store .
OUR DREAM
The Goal is to Produce High Quality Leather goods and to be one of the proud brand from Indonesia.
Sewstories now serve customers not only for Local market, but also in US, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, Spain, Brazil, UEA country, and soon to be for the rest of the world.. ^_^
We also support Fair trade movement although we are not under any kind of organisations, but we do care about working together in the fairer world,
